A group of Japanese partners to Volvo spent a few days in Sweden and Gothenburg to look at the plant and learn more about Volvo, this veteran in the automotive industry.
I assisted with a museum tour at the World of Volvo, an interactive facility showcasing over 100 years of Volvo’s vehicle development and history. The tour focused on the technical evolution of the brand’s vehicles, with participants including Volvo Group’s board members, the CEO, and their Japanese partners.
The photo was taken in front of the Volvo Group’s facility where the technical presentations and demonstrations took place. The people in the photo were from the Software Development teams.

The second day involved interpreting for technical presentations and demonstrations by three different R&D teams. The presentations covered topics such as the development of new truck engines and software testing facilities, highlighting ongoing research and innovations within Volvo's engineering departments.
This assignment centered on interpreting for high-level discussions involving historical, technical, and strategic automotive topics.
